EIT Hand Torque Multipliers
  • The gearboxes of the range of EIT hand torque multipliers are built to an extremely high standard of precision. All gears rotate on needle roller bearings about hardened and ground journal pins. As a result a torque multiplication accuracy of +4%, throughout the operating range is achieved.
  • EIT Torque Multipliers are compact, Alloy steel, epicyclic gear units which have a velocity ratio of 5:20:1 and an actual power multipli-cation of 5:1 per stage of gearing.
  • They can be used between a standard ratchet type torque wrench and socket to multiply by 5, 25 or 125 times and are designed for controlled and economic tightening of bolts the size of 3/4” and bigger.
  • Torque output calculations are therefore easy to calculate by simply multipling the input torque by the gear ratio eg torque multiplication factor..
  • The comprehensive range of EIT hand torque multipliers consists of a range of Compact design models available up to 47’500 Nm or 35’000 ft-lb and the Traditional design range available up to 6’880 Nm or 5’075 ft-lb.
 H / HG Manual Torque Multipliers

  • torque multipliers for torques of up to 50'000 Nm. All models are equipped with a locking system that allows effectiv work even by using only short movements with the ratchets.

  • The individual components of the gear box are not machined, this guarantees minimum wear even at the highest levels of use. The torque accuracy depends on the tolerance of the torque wrenches used to operate the torque multipliers.

  • The torque multipliers can either be operated using standard 3/4" drive torque- or ratchet wrenches or by using the hand wheel for the pre-tightening of loose bolts.
    Also supplied is an adapter 1/2" female square drive to 3/4" male drive.
